Long overdue hiatus message

Hey guys, no idea who in the guild reading this would remember me but figured I'd do the courteous thing and give an explanation. Anyway as I seriously hope you've already worked out I've given the game away for the time being, sadly I simply do not have the free time (2 jobs and full time study) to give any type of decent commitment to the game or the guild so I figured I'd stop paying a subscription.

Hope those of you left playing are still having fun, I may be back one of these days, though in the mid-semester break I'm going snow-boarding in new zealand for a few weeks so probably won't be till the end of the year.

If Donka reads this, how's the degree going? Been on your first prac yet?

How ya been mate? Yeah, I'm still playing, lol. Got my slayer to 40 and kinda am deciding on what I want as a main now. WP's are getting nerfed hardcore when the Land of the Dead expansion arrives.

I'm like the only person left that is/was from FFA that still plays now Don't hesitate to come back whenever you can - we do miss ya

Heya Aev, yeah I'm doing fine. As for inFamous, already pre-ordered my copy. What I did do was import the asian version of Demon's Souls for PS3, really loving that game when I get the chance to play it, its kinda like a cross between a ninja gaiden or devil may cry and an rpg like diablo. I'll be getting inFamous once the street date is broken (any bets if it will happen this week?). Prototype I'm considering, depends how it compares to inFamous, but if it is good tempted to get it on the xbox 360 rather than the PS3 so my mates can borrow it, not sure.

Now as for my psn id, well hmmm, I think its AJFerrari, though that could be my ps home id, where do you find out your psn ID heh? Can you tell i'm a n00b to the mplayer side of the ps3, so much easier on the xbox 360, whats with this lack of voice chat anyway?~! We'd have to use vent or something.

Anyway good to hear your still having fun, I'll frequent these forums from time to time. Tell Phlawless I still manage to hold aggro better than him even though I don't play anymore.

Just bought both Resistance games while placing my pre order for infamous down and have been playing them the past few days. Man, fighting the leviathan in R2 is I-N-S-A-N-E.........

Yet another game to play multiplayer!
I have heard the multiplayer is one of the best out there but haven't tried it yet cuz I wanna finish the story off 1st. Is it really that good?

Yeah I had alotta fun with Resistance 2 especially, for me it was a lot more fun than Killzone 2 to be honest. Mainly because I actually wanted to finish Resistance 2, where as Killzone 2, what little I have played so far feels like a chore. Played some R2 mplayer, the co-op is well....weird, its not the actual single player campaign, but separate missions that branch out as you level up and skill up your guy, one of 3 base classes, soldier, medic or specialist. Online multiplayer is well....cod 4 with more people to be honest. While not a perfect comparison, when playing it I felt like I was closet to playing cod 4 arcade style fps compared to say a unreal 3 twitch shooter style game.

You gotta look into demon's souls though, prolly hear more about it at E3 since it finally has a NA publisher in Atlus or something, was a Japan/Asia game before, I imported mine from HMV Hong Kong for only AU$74. So still ended up being cheaper then if I had waited for it to come out in Australia (if it does) or bought it off ebay etc. Having alotta fun with that game. Infamous in half a week though, combined with star ocean 4: last hope on xbox 360, possibly red faction: guerrila, maybe ARMA II, probably prototype, OP Flash 2 definitely, Bioshock 2 for sure, Modern Warfare 2....alot of money going to be spent on games I won't have a heap of time to play in the next 6 months haha.
